OUR ORGANISATION
We are a specialised collective of cardiac sonographers and cardiologists dedicated to break the barriers of access to preventative, hospital-grade heart care.
To provide nationally governed, cardiologist/ specialist led diagnostic services at the point of care, reducing delays, preventing avoidable hospital admissions, and improving cardiovascular outcomes across Australia.
We deliver hospital-grade echocardiography and cardiac diagnostics directly into primary care clinics, aged care facilities, and regional and remote communities. Our model ensures specialist-level assessment without referral bottlenecks, capital investment, or patient travel burden.
Cardiac disease does not wait. Neither should diagnosis.
To use the mobile diagnostic model as a pathway to support the development of community-based health infrastructure. As imaging services expand across regions, we aim to work alongside local healthcare providers and communities to support sustainable diagnostic access and strengthen local capability over time.
Australia’s cardiac diagnostic pathway is centralised, congested and inequitable. Regional patients wait months. Aged care residents deteriorate while awaiting transport. GPs manage risk without timely specialist imaging.
This is not a workforce issue. It is a deployment issue.
The Heart Screen was built to decentralise specialist diagnostics without compromising clinical governance. By moving technology and cardiologist oversight into community settings, we shorten time to diagnosis, accelerate treatment decisions, and reduce pressure on tertiary hospitals.
We did not build a mobile service.
We built a distributed cardiac diagnostic network designed to integrate seamlessly with Medicare, primary care and aged care systems.
“Mobile” should never mean second-tier, nor should it mean costly, inefficient fly-in services or temporary stop-gap solutions.
We have engineered a scalable, nationally deployable cardiac diagnostic model designed for speed, quality and system efficiency.
Our platform includes:
All supported by NATA-accredited imaging standards, CSANZ-aligned protocols and cardiologist-reviewed reporting within 48 hours.
This is not a pop-up service.
It is structured clinical infrastructure deployed closer to the patient.
Only faster diagnosis. Earlier intervention. Reduced hospital pressure.
Next-Generation Fleet
Our fleet relies exclusively on premium-tier, next-generation portable ultrasound units. These systems mirror the high-fidelity structural imaging capabilities of top-end hospital systems, ensuring our cardiologists receive pristine, artifact-free images.
Our dedicated liaison team is ready to assist with scheduling, clinic integration, or patient inquiries.
CLINICAL ROSTER

The foundational principles that guide every scan, every report, and every patient interaction.
Cardiologist-led oversight. CSANZ-aligned protocols. NATA-accredited imaging. Structured medical governance across every deployment site.
Cardiologist-reviewed reporting within 48 hours. No referral bottlenecks. No tertiary hospital delays.
Mobile clinics, containerised units and fly-in teams. Integrated into GP practices, aged care and regional health systems without capital investment.
Mobile deployment should never dilute specialist oversight.
Our governance model is structured to meet and exceed standards, ensuring that every scan performed within The Heart Screen network operates under consultant cardiologist supervision and nationally aligned protocols.
Each deployment site functions as an extension of accredited specialist / cardiac services not a substitute for them.
Our operations are strictly overseen by a team of senior, Australian-trained consultant cardiologists who dictate all scanning and reporting protocols.
